The following table lists different considerations when planning to implement IPv6 on your network.

For security purposes, you need an addressing plan for the DMZ and its entities before you configure IPv6.

Decide how you would implement security, such as using IP Filter, IP security architecture (IPsec), Internet Key Exchange (IKE), and other security features of this release.
