This section describes the functions in the various specialized libraries, including asynchronous I/O (libaio), security and auditing (libbsm), configuration administration (libcfgadm), contract management (libcontract), CPU performance counters (libcpc), direct access transport (libdat), device ID (libdevid), device information (libdevinfo), executable and linking format (libelf), extended accounting file access (libexacct), and file system type identification (libfstyp). Readers of this section should be familiar with C programming language constructs.
