Accessing Third-Party Notice and License Information
This section describes how to access third-party license information from an installed system
or from the package repository.
How to Access Third-Party Notice and License Information From an Installed System Using the Package Manager GUI
- Log in to an Oracle Solaris 11 system.
- Start the Package Manager by choosing System →Administration→Package Manager from the menu bar.
- Select the package name from the list of available packages.
- Click the Notices tab to view the third-party notice and license information for
that package.

How to Access Third-Party Notice and License Information From the Package Repository
- In a web browser, access the package repository at http://pkg.oracle.com/solaris/release/en/catalog.shtml.
The Package Repository lists the packages for the current release.
- (Optional) To view packages for a previous release, select the release from the Release
and Branch drop-down menu.
- Click a package name in the Name column to view the third-party notice
and license information for that package.
