About Oracle Solaris 11.1

Oracle Solaris 11.1 is the first update release of Oracle Solaris 11 11/11. Oracle Solaris 11.1 builds on the features of Oracle Solaris 11 for secure and agile deployment of services in large-scale cloud environments and enterprise data centers.

Oracle Solaris 11.1 provides several new features that include simplified administration, rapid application provisioning with designed-in virtualization, data integrity using scalable data management, and advanced protection.
